Weird RPM "problem"

Hey guys I have I bit of a RPM problem with my 2002 Tl type s.
Every time I start my car usually my RPM is around 750-850 witch is normal. After few seconds of working my RPM goes up and down. It goes up to around 1200 and goes down to almost to bellow 500, almost to the point that the car almost dies. This "problem" per say it happens only when the car is cold meaning that the car is been off for a while. After I run the car to certain temp the "problem" stops.
I'm thinking there is something that needs cleaning like injection or fuel strainer or some sort of a filter.

If you guys have suggestions please let me know. I'm pretty handy so I can do a lot of things on my car

Thanks in advance

i just cleaned mine instead of replacing it, it's not broken just clogged up. don't think there's a DIY for it but really just take it off, spray it down with some carb cleaner and slap it back on.
