Weird problem with TL-S

Okay guys I don't know if you guys have ever had a problem like I have but any input would be awesome. So when I have my headlights turned off my door locks won't work, they would try to either lock or unlock makes little movement and doesn't move at all. Also all my windows will not roll up or down either and my acura remote will not lock my door locks either. I went to my mechanic and he said that it could be that the whole passenger side fuse box might have gone bad and that I would need to replace it. Hopefully someone here has had this problem and has an answer for this. Please help, its really annoying having to leave my headlights on all the time to lock my doors with the remote. Thanks in advance.

One more thing, where would I be able to get new Axles for a cheaper price? Thanks.

New axles are really cheap now. Acuraoemparts.com would be an option.

Headlights turn off automatically, so at least it's not a problem leaving them on 24/7.

Mmm, really weird problem. I would initially guess an electric problem, but if your mechanic said the passenger fusebox, that might be it. Not sure.

Replacing the fuse box seems like the easy way out, there are no moving parts to where out in a fuse box. It could have gotten hot and melted causing a short, but then you would also need to find what cause the increase in resistance to cause the heat. The fuse box may need to be replaced but more than likely the problem did not start there. Good luck chasing down electrical problems can be a real pain in the a** and time consuming. I you are paying some one to do the work I would want to know what caused the problem in the first place, or you could be replacing the fuse box again.

Thanks Karan and NC I will take that into consideration and ask my mechanic about that. Hopefully it won't be too expensive for now I just leave the lights on and my back light for the clock keeps burning out.
