fuel cut off comes into play at 6250 rpm for 2000 TL's i believe, right at the red line. Today i was cruising with high speed and needed to downshift so i shifted to 3rd in SS and was still flooring it. the needle went all the way to 6500 rmp and was still going up a little bit.. i noticed right away and shifted my gear up. Doesn't the fuel cutoff come in at the red line? i might be wrong..

no it does not. Otherwise it would be stupid as hell. What if a driver mistakenly shifted just a little over redline when trying to race? It would cut off every time. That's gay.

The redline is 6300RPM and the ignition cutoff is at 6600RPM. Your tach may show a little differently, but it's there.

damn, 7000??? Thats high. I have only brought it up to 6500. I dont think that it would be possable to get it to 7. But if its possable I will check it out.

I had it up to 6800 before, but i think the tach is not that accurate!
AC: Maybe it had something to do with your V-AFC, and do you remember if your setting looked something like this

or you had negative on those settings? If I remember correctly you lean the car out a bit right? So the settings would be negative?
