Ok.... so I'm getting onto a road last night, and I had to basically floor the car to avoid being hit... well, when the tanny shifted from 2nd to 3rd, it slipped, and the RPMs jumped a lot around redline, but I wasn't redlining the car.... it just kind of did it by itself. So I was like ok... and I drove it, and then checked out the shifting by accelerating again, and it was fine. So me and my cop friend get on the highway, and there are these rednecks causing problems on the road, so I pull up next to them, at about 90mph, and Billy flashes them his badge, and I floor the car. Well, the last time I attempted to go rediculously fast I did about 147. The car stopped at 110.... and wouldn't go any faster. I was going up a slight grade, but that shouldn't be a problem. I dont know if this is a tanny problem, or something with my CAI... or if I'm just hallucinating and becoming a worry wart. Has this happened to anyone before??? BTW - I just had my 75K service done last week, with the tanny service I think.

WTF? I went to an Auto Parts store, to buy some new wipers and some leather cleaner, and I mentioned the tranny problem, and he went out and looked at it... and there wasn't nearly enough fluid in the thing. God damn Acura.... I'm callin the client services tomorrow, and the dealer, and I'm going to demand another tranny service done for free... and hopefully get a refund. Pisses me off.
