My '03 TL-S is only a week old and I got onto the highway yesterday and heard a noise. Darn pebble hit the windshield and now there is a little chip right in the center. Do you think this kind of thing is warrantied? What a pain in the neck. Any advice on how to fix it? I don't feel like having the windshield replaced after a week. Thanks.

Most auto glass companies will fill in the chip if the damage is smaller than a dollar bill. Eventually it will begin to spread depending on how bad it is.
Most companies will send a guy right to your car and fix it in an hour or so.
Also, most insurance policies have windshield coverage built in to your policy. An insurance company would rather pay $60 to fix a chip than pay out to replace a windshield.

 

Hope u have decent insurance. Smae thing happened to me, $250 deductible (otherwise $900 to replace)
