Water Problems

I was resealing my headlights after one of the fogged and it started pouring outside. Fu(k.....

So by the time I got out there to cover everything up all the wire harness were wet.

What can I do know? Do I just wait til they dry up? Do I use a hairdryer to hurry the process? So I keep my lights off for a while?

HELPPPP?????????

Damn you don't have a garage? Wipe the stuff up with a towel and let it dry. If you use a hairdryer don't use high heat setting and just blow it to get the water out of the nooks and crany.

I would keep them off for a while if you can. The next very aarid and dry day I would first blow them out with an air compressor then use the hair dryer. If you have some silica gell packs around you could leave them in there for a couple days.

The key here is to re-seal them whem it's the dryest air outside. This will minimize the moisture inside the assembly when you put the unit back in and re-install the bulb.

Hope this helps!
