Water Leaking in trunk?

Gents,

I have only had this car since end of August so i just noticed this last night, installing a stereo in the car and finally got to the trunk to dynomat it. Taking out all the trim, and get to the spare tire, and it is under water??? Now it has been raining here since friday, i have never noticed this, never had a flat and been in bad rain once since i bought the car, but never looked for this in the trunk. I don't see any immediate rust around the area. So i got it all cleaned up and dry to the best of my ability. Drove a bit after, not raining at the time, just a tad bit of water, maybe still leaking in/out. This morning checked the trunk, it rained again late last night, trunk is dry. I see 2 drain looking tubes behind the each rear fender, they look clean and brand new. I searched the forum and will try testing the moon roof with water to see if it drains properly, but not sure if you guys had this happen to you. A quick check under the car and i can see a wet spot, its right under where you screw the bolt in to hold the spare tire. Car is an 02 TL Type S, with 117k on the clock now. What do you think?

If you cant locate where its coming from, pull out the back seat and all the panels in the trunk, get your self a flash light and bring it to a car wash. Get a underbody flush too.

If you cant do teh carwash thing try a good sprinkler under the car in that area and see if you can see any thing trickiling in.
Can you tell does the water come from the sides of the trunk or is it just contained to the spare tire well?

Then id recomend seting up a sprinkler under your car and sitting in the back with the seat out looking for where its coming in. its got to be a gromet or a seam thats letting it in, hopefully the sprinkler will show it

I had water leaking to. IT was coming from the rear glass. Acura replaced the trunk seal and resealed the glass. This was about 2 years ago.
