Washer-fluid indicator light?!

I have an 03 TLP. My washer-fluid is EMPTY! There is no indicator light on the TL? I'm pissed - no warning. My old maxima and Grand Prix both had it.

I love my TL, but man, it's missing some NECESSARY THINGS!

Ummm yes?! Fluid low. You've NEVER seen a light like that? It wouldn't piss me off so much EXCEPT for the fact that I went to use it and there was NOTHING LEFT, smeared the shiet all over my windshield! (I'm anal and my windshield ALWAYS has to be clean!!)

This is just my opinion, but I personally think that's too much. If you're out of washer fluid, just put some fluid. It's not that important. It's not going to affect your driving whether you went out of washer fluid or not in the middle of the road.
It will be better to have it, but not that important.

Just my 0.02.

Tatewaki is correct, this feature is only for Canadian models and yes is nice to have, I use to have it on my Maxima and once you have it it's hard now that I don't have it but I can always check under the hood you know is not THAT big of a deal.

what is stupid about it is that Canadian law requires it so they design and build a system which they can easily add to the US model but instead save the the 10 bucks a car.

Just another something to fix once it goes wrong. As long as I get my oil change on time, I've always got washer fluid. Indicator not a must for me.

I just don't understand why does Canadian models have more features than the US? They have DRLs, Aspec, and now washier fluid indicators.

People will awlays want what they cannot have. DRLs, Aspec, and washier fluid indicators to me they are very minor features. DRLs, I don't see them when I'm driving. I know more ppl disabling them than liking them. Aspec, nothing more than extra cosmetic bits [except for the spoiler]. WW fluids, it's not used often. Mine never lit up since I always check it. Nothing (and I mean NOTHING) compared to not able to have navi!
