i took my car in for the tape on the outside part of the windows that were bubbling and tearing.....they "ordered" the part to fix, but they haven't called me back yet.....

not sure how or who installed your system, but did you take apart your door panels?....then they might say something, but if you didn't, then you shouldn't worry.

There's a bulletin about replacing the B-pillar covers if they fade. If the trim around the doors bubbles up, it needs to be repainted. I had my B-pillar covers and the trim around the windows re-painted at the same time so they would match.

For the window you probably need a new regulator/motor ass'y. Unless you have aftermarket tint on the windows you shouldn't have any problems getting it replaced.

The B-pillar trim garnishes are the black trim covers that are on the part of your door where the back and front door meet. They are a slick black color and are plastic. Dealers will re-place these under warranty. They should also replace the black taping that goes around the entire windows. If you're not under warranty, each one is about 33 bucks plus the cost of a few clips/screws. They pretty much snap on.

Does anyone have this bulletin number? I've had it replaced on my car already, and it looks to be bubbling again. I'd rather have them paint it and have it taken care of correctly.

THanks!

Yes because I had them paint all of the trimming around all the windows as well as down the center. He said they found that better to do than re-taping them. And I wasn't taking any chances of getting overspray on the car so they took the doors off. They had a local bodyshop do it.

Yep, and I got to sport a slow TSX for 2 days and then an old RL for a day. It was worth it though, they did a great job.
