I just recently bought a 2002 TLS (Today!). I had a question about what performance parts you can put on the car without voiding the warranty.

The main things that i'm looking at is cold air kit, new springs and possible a header and exhaust system.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

 

I believe Comptech performance parts don't void your warranty. Park Ave Acura definitely installs Comptech branded products.

 

A lot of dealers sell and install Comptech parts. The installation of these parts does not affect your warranty, but could affect you if you lease!

 

After I talked to the service department at the dealership, they said that they wouldn't install any aftermarket parts that would void my warranty somehow or some way. Is this normal?
