i want to buy a APEXI V AFC FOR MY 2000 TL, i wanted to know if the vafc 2
is the best one to buy. when purchasing do i have to be specific about the model of my car. do they sell a wiring kit so that i dont have to cut my wires.

Frog makes a plug and play harness but it's pricy. I paid ~$150 for mine.

any one will work, you just need the specific plug n play harness, to get power out of it u need you car tuned and thats what the v afc will let you do. im running a single dry shot of 100 (zex). havent had any problems, ran lean once on the dyno and did a rough tune with my apexi. im told that my injectors arnt maxed out yet. if you have the nitrous set up correctly you wont blow anything up.

Actually the Apexi NEO is the only one that works well on these cars unless you have forced induction, then Greddy E-Manage.

The VAFC and VAFC II dont hold the tune. Our computers override them.

my buddy had a neo on his 05 3.5 altima with an intake, headers, exhaust, ur pulley. dynoed it at 222whp and i dont remember the torque, and then did a dyno tune with the neo and had 234whp and dont remember the torque

if u have all the bolts on id invest in FI or the neo and get the most hp and torque out of the car.

question if i install my nos what would be the best gear to hit the switch. i was thinking about only using it at top end, so i wouldnt put to much stress on the motor coming out the hole. or may be after second gear at full throttle
