Anyone in the NJ/NY area wanna do some time trials at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park? I'm going to go there this Saturday to make some passes.
I'll get in touch w this guy who has an Audi s4. He's been feenin to race a Type S. He says that everytime he tries to race one on the road, they punk out. I've been trying to meet him there for 2 weeks, but they've been running other events and or closed...

if he can drive an S4, then he will smoke ya.

 

s4 is close to the level of m3... hard to match that

I'm glad u guys have so much faith in me & the Cl. Thanks. Last time I was there I was running 14.508 @ 99.77mph(intake & headers). I'm sure I could have tapped into the 14.4's, but I had to leave. Since then I've done another mod so we'll see....

 

I'll be optimistic. It all comes down to driver's skills. Go get him!

 

it can be a close race... remember AWD cars can be difficult to launch so the times that are in C&D and magazines is with professionals driving and a perfect launch.

I'm waiting for my friend to get through the break-in period in his '02 S4 and we're going to race to see how much faster his car is. I don't think he can launch well so it'll probably be pretty close although after being in his car, I can say that it is FAST (mine's no slouch though).
