Vtec Control

Anyone have good results with an Apexi Controller? Will the car run any better going into Vtec sooner for example, maybe 4000RPM?

How hard is the install, and how costly is the device? Does it have any other benefits? I hope more mods come out, have all the comptech stuff

ours is SOHC VTEC...not effective even u have the VTEC controller...

the main purpose of VTEC controller is to switch to the fast cam earlier for the DOHC VTEC engines such as TYPE R and GS-R...

dont mean to bust your bubble buts thats not exactly how it works.....the controler goes for about 300 bucks install is pretty difcult not to mention how to tune that sucker....as far as gain from a stock car you wont see much but after you starting adding mods the controler will work off your mods and improve how the engine utilizes it better...from stock you can actually harm your car if ou run it wrong ie. too rich and you clog the cat.....it really all comes down to money if you have the money the more you spend on getting it done right the better off the gains will be for you....but again stock wise dont expect more than 5-10 hp

Any more opinions? As for perfromance mods, I have Comptech Headers and Exhaust, and air filter. Ran a best around 14.3 last year.

Anyone have it? Anyone know someone to isntall in the southwest? Would be cool if we had a DOHC engine anyhow.

Buddy Club Racing Spec Computer

Hi all,

The guys @ A&J Racing have been testing a new product which is a piggy back computer (kind of the like the AEM one) but made by Buddy Club Japan.

We haven't tried it on either of our TLs yet but have done tuning to a S2K and RSX.

I'll have updates for everyone.

Thanks,

InspireS
