yea bro, you need more of a description. Does the wheel hop and you lose traction? Do you hear or feel any pop? How is it that your engine is jumping? If its jumping then it could possibly be a bad mount but we cant figure that out unless you give more details. Open your hood and crank that baby on and look at it.

How does a "it pulls violently when i press the gas" turn into "om thinking i need a new engine"??? If it accelerates like you say there is nothing wrong with your motor.
Like stated before you NEED to be more descriptive with your problem.

the front mount is fluid filled and retails from acura for about $150
figure the shop is charging 1.5-2 hours labor and there is $300
If you are not a DIYer- then its a reasonable price and the differance in the car will amaze you
Some years have a vacuum booster to the front and rear mount- when the mount goes bad there is also a mystery vac leak that will make the car run funny
Mention to the shop that the right side mounts are a well know failure point when the front has been broken a while, its much cheaper- 50 bucks and 1/2 hour labor-
they may not have seen it was bad until the front is fixed
215k- miles make sure the water pump and timing belt have been done recently- every 105 is the rule to keep it running
See the diy section for Seafoam- do that and install new spark plugs- it will run like a new car
The engines are good for well past 300 as long as the water pump/timing belt are good and you change the oil every 7500 miles

buy the right mount from one of our dealers that support azine- a complete list is in the vendor section oemacura.com etc
or search for - where to buy
You want the dealer mount
NGK Iridium spark plugs are found at kragen type stores everywhere- call yours to see if they carry NGK- if they do they have this plug
Same exact plug the dealer sells but for 10 bucks each instead of 25 each
