VIN Numbers on Panels - Accident

Hey all, my wife got into a minor fender bender on the front passenger fender area of the car. Very minor damage. Got the car back from Rallye body shop with a two-tone rim (silver with a bluish haze on the wheel insets) - can definitely tell it was machined and done very poorly. Also, I specifically instructed the body shop to repair the existing fender panel rather than replace it. Got the car back last night and the VIN # sticker is missing from inside the engine compartment on the panel they were supposed to only repair. Note that it was not necessary to replace the panel. Questions are as follows - (1) where is the VIN stamped on the 1/4 panels other than the missing sticker; and (2) how can I tell if the part is an Acura part or some krap from Mexico (note that insurance authorized original parts). Thanks.

sorry to hear about the accident.
as for the sticker they may have pulled it off to refinish(paint) the fender. and as far as i know the sticker is the only place that would tell it

What would the stamp say and where inside the fender is the stamp located?
