Vin # Check
I am about to buy a 2003 tl type-s and am wondering if i can determine the transmission failure through the vin #...Ifso i will post my vin # ....Any help will be appreciated. I really dont want to buy a brand new car and have to worry about the tranny.....

Yo LilDave,
Go to acura owners link and register that car as if you own it. It will tell you once complete whether it was covered under the tranny warranty. If it does not state that, then you are OK i.e. that car is one that was made 'after' the tranny issue was determined and resolved.
