vibration at high speeds...

When im driving around 75mph+ my car vibrates why? here is my setup. I have aftermarket wheels... 18x8 +45 offset. tires 225/40/18.. I do know that I may need an alignment because my car goes to the right at times... any thoughts?...

your wheels might not be balanced correctly and it is a good idea to get an alignment if your car pulls in one direction. good luck.

Sounds like you're in need of an alignment to resolve the "pulling" issue you have. Also go get a road force balance done which should get rid of the vibrations. Check here to find a dealer in your area that has a Hunter GSP9700 unit.

Vibration

A veteran TL'er by the name of Chuck's TL had the same issue (he just put on new SSR's so he knew that the wheels themselves were not the issue). He found that the lock lug nuts are heavier then the stock lug nuts, and haveing just one on each wheel created the wheel to be out of balance. I think he replaced his with all stockers on each wheel and the vibration is now gone. I have the same issue but have not goten around to replacing them yet.

By the way do you remember me from the meet in Baltimore last summer that V6P had, I was the anthracite gray parked right next to you.

just a note, but the vibration completely went away on my car when I stopped taking the car to Ed Martin Acura for a balance and started going to Discount Tire...I didn't see the location I go to on the road force website, but they get it perfect every time and since i bought my replacement tires from there, it's free...otherwise they charge $30, the dealer charged me $60 for nothing. there, i feel better after complaining about the acura dealer...
