<h3>Venom 400</h3>
I'm sorry if this post is a lil on the late side but has anyone put a venom 400 on their TL? I've got one on order and should arrive around March 14..hey in time for the OC meet? LOL Anyways, any feedback would be appreciated. And I read that post from the plastic Sport Sedan guy, best I can do is burn one here in SoCali for you..=) Maybe there's a Lexus-IS.com or something where I can post my story..=)

 

I have been waiting for to put up the review on it cuz I am interested in it too.

Its pretty much a Chip mode that can be activated\deactivated via switch button.

 

I wouldn't have bought the product if I were you. The Venom 400 doesn't increase your peak horsepower, or change the powerband at all. What it essentially does is make the ecu think that your stepping on the gas pedal further than you really are. So at wide open throttle (WOT)/flooring the pedal, you get no additional horsepower. I think the Venom 400 is waste of money.

Ok guys I'll definitely see wassup with the Venom. If all goes well, I should be buying a TL Type-S around end of summer as well cuz my gf needs a car and so, I'm giving her my TL. If the doesn't perform well in the regular TL, I'll test it in the Type-S and the TL will just get a AFC instead. If there's anyone in SoCali, True Motorsports are trying to specialize in CLs and TLs. They've dynoed a AFC and one of their CLs gained 9HP at the tires. So far, I've got intake, exhaust, lowering. So, lets keep our fingers crossed.=)
