tim is the man...i got it from ACP for about $650 and $50 shipping. that's a whopping $700 for an unpainted spoiler...alright, i'm materialistic! it was about a 5 week wait...
it's similar to the WW in the fact that it mounts flush to the deck, but it does have a slight indentation along the back of the wing to follow the curve of the trunk lid. the sides of the spoiler also hang over somewhat and the flare upwards follows the body lines (as you can see from the pic above).

Oh, Stanman, how's installation like? Any special instructions on how to put it on? You need screws, sticky tape, or...? Thanks.

the papers that came with the kit are in japanese so i do not know if there are disclaimers, but the wing comes with two long strips of double sided tape (as you can see in some of the pix). i suppose you can drill through your trunk lid to secure, but i think i might not be doing this. the body shop said if you use enough tape you can get away from ruining your trunk lid.
i have seen many lowered and kitless, but spoilered, cars before and they look alright. anything lowered will look better! but a wing would look a lot better with a kit in my opinion. and i also think a kitted car looks alright without the wing. but that's entirely up to you. maybe you can photoshop some of my pix to see how a kitless, lowered, spoilered car looks.

I agree with NSXNEXT, you should bolt it down with screws. However, does the VS come with screw holes or not? Your post did not say. If not, I'm wondering if you were to drill holes into them, will it crack the spoiler? I had a spoiler ages ago on my 87 Integra, and the fiberglass spoiler just kept cracking (even after repairs). I eventually went with a Mugen Power lip spoiler. BTW, is the VS made of fiberglass or polyurethane?

Flush mounts make the oem spoiler look like garbaaaage. The wings west spoiler as well as the vs are much more subtle and clean. The oem spoiler is played out too and who wants something that everyone has? Isnt you car a form of self-expression...display your uniqueness, authenticity, and originality...my grandma has the oem wing on her tl =).

Nice spoiler, I have the same one.
As for the drills, I think you want to drill b/c somebody tried to rip mine off while i was in the ghetto. They were 1/2 there. WEll, if you don't want to drill, use some really strong adhesive and not just the tape that they supply. You have to add some more addhesive. And make sure you adjust your trunk so that it accounts for the spoiler b/c the damn thing is heavy. I have dynamat in my trunk from the system I had and the spoiler and i have yet to adjust mine. Been lazy.

So did you drill holes into your VS spoiler so you can screw it down into your trunk, or did you end up just using more adhesive? If you drilled, any problems with cracking along the drill holes, and stuff like that? Let us know! Thanks.

somebody tried to rip mine off, so it was hanging 1/2 way and like loose. I don't know why they just didn't pull it more, maybe somebody came or something.
so I just took it off for now. I'll reinstall it later. I might just add more adhesive later...I kind of don't want holes.

Moo, it is similar to WW spoiler but different. It is more aggressive looking. Hey, I'm thinking of maybe getting a WW spoiler too. Could you post pics of your spoiler? Then we can do a side by side comparison of WW and VS spoiler (after Stanman shows us the pics). That would be cool.

Yes, the VS spoiler looks way more aggressive. Really love
the look of the VS spoiler.

Hope they aligned it perfect so that it doesn't catch with the body of the car when you close the trunk. It has to be pretty much perfect. The WW doesn't come as close to the body of the car like ours does.

thanks again!
probably the dronell BRs which look like the brabus IIIs...20x8/53offset. but the 5-spoked MUs looked really nice. the fact that replacing a set of 21" tires will cost as much as a set of brand new wheels and tires is disheartening. 20" tires cost a grip too, 19" tires are better, but the best price are 18" tires. you know how that goes...
still kinda confused but more than likely the 20" BRs
