Anyone know if a new Valentine radar detector is coming out? The current model has been out for a while. I really like mine but it does false a ton(which I realize will happen with any detector)

Exactly. The V1 is upgradable, so I don't think it will be changing anytime soon. Visit the website for more info. Also, the falsing can be reduced by switching to logic or advanced logic modes.

All of the false alarms are on X-band. I have yet to run into a speed trap with X-band radar. They are always K or Ka.
