v-force power control module?

I have one in my car that was in it when I bought it. I looked it up in JCWhitney and it says the v-force "modifies ignition curve & air/fuel ratio for max. horsepower and acceleration." So my question is, does anyone else here have one? And does it really work? Its constantly falling out my door compartment and its starting to piss me off. Thanks guys

first off, tell us what it is and where you got it...

are you sure you're not confusing it with the V-afc

Well I don't know what it's suposed to do...so how am I going to tell you how its working? I didn't put it in my car, and I found it in JCWhitney and it says all that ignition curve stuff but when I turn it on I don't know what to look for to see if it's making any kind of difference or not. thanks anyway...

LOL tpatel... I guess while I'm out tonight I'll turn it on and see if I notice anything besides my exhaust being quieter. I found an article on it and it says the vforce is suposed to "dramatically improve 1/4 mile ETs" and its also suposed to "recalibrate the fuel map" WTF does that mean but I guess I'll see if I find any mind-blowing difference tonight while I'm driving, now that I have some half idea of what it's going to do.

it means that when its on you should feel the car accelerating faster on the high rpm band...

try this:
complete stop (0mph)
turn vsa/tcs, a/c and even radio so you hear it all
sink the gas and dont lift it untill you reach 100mph.

If you feel something quiker then it works...if you dont you wated $200.

BTW you wont feel and "mind blowing" differences...not even headers do that. you might just feel a slightly harder pull into your seat, so small it might be hard to notice

it might not do anything for you unless you get it tuned for your car......

I think your best bet would be to take your car to a dyno, and see what gains (if any) this v-force thingy does for you. Dyno it with it off, then again with it on. Just to pop your ride on a dyno isn't expensive, as you're not doing any dyno tuning. Good luck!

http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...odelId-2001006 there is the link to it on JcWhitney website. I had it on today and it made a tiny difference but not so "dramatic" like they claim. It also makes my exhaust sound quieter as I mentioned before.
