Post V-AFC and GTech Pro

Thinking of buying a V-AFC and GTech Pro.

How does $290 for the V-AFC sound? Whats a good price on the GTech?

Will the V-AFC ruin my already wonderful ( ) gas mileage?

Ya I know, I've been thinking about a GTech for a long time... almost bought one used for $100 off of someone... but yet again I'm thinking I'll have to wait on the GTech. The V-AFC is a sure thing though.

Does anyone know if there is a dyno that can do front wheel drive cars in the Seattle area? I understand they really push your car during a dyno, do you think its bad for it?

Yep, can't use web nerd magic to get *all* my parts! Remember who doesn't have to pay rent?

Shyne, the V-AFC allows you to control when VTEC kicks in and the fuel pressure for low and high cams. This can allow me to get more power out of the aftermarket mods I have. It also displays rpm, air pressure, and throttle position. Plus its gonna look cool as hell the way I'm going to install it!

I'm worried about ruining my gas mileage. I already get 16-19 MPGs regularly. Since I can control at what throttle position it gives more fuel, do you think that I could set it up so that it would only affect my gas mileage at WOT?

Tanner, or anyone with a V-AFC, at what RPM do you have your VTEC set to engage? Anyone know the exact stock RPM? 4200?

NateDog,
I'm suppose to be getting it dyno tuned this week(I think?)....... OUr stock Vtec engages around 4300-4500, I heard(by Acura Tech) that it's not good for the ECU to engage the Vtec lower than 4000(but I think that there talking about 'Tegs since there redline is at 9000....... but I set it at 4000rpm anyway

PS. Your right, it looks cool as sh*t!! when people see mines there like "Holy Sh*t, what the f#ck is that?"

Dam Nate, I can't wait to see your car when your done!!!!

Tanner, you'll have to post how it affects your gas mileage! How are your screens coming? I'm hoping to send mine out next month.

Mike, cool! Maybe we can hook it up at a meet and do some drag racing!
