i was wondering if any of you guys used a camber kit lowering your car about 1.75? Also do you need to cut the bump stop?

I didn't cut my bumpstops and haven't installed any camber correction kits, but did get an alignment. It's been several months and about 10,000 miles... rides quite nicely and I don't have any additional or uneven tire wear.

My bumb stops where cut with tht H&R 1.75, but I am not sure if they needed to be. My TL does ride very smoothly though.

Did you lower your car yourself or did you have a shop do it? If you had a shop do it, can you tell me where and how much. I am looking to put the H&R sport springs on my car, but keep hearing different stories down here in Miami. Some say I need a camber kit, some say I don't. Also are you running with the stock tires and rims or did you go to 18's

Thanks,

Tim

After having my car about 6 months, I had a shop put H&R Sports on my car ($220 for springs AND install). Looked great, road great. No need for camber, just align it for peace of mind. I didn't even need an adjustment. About 5K miles later, I got new 18's on. The old tires were worn perfect; not uneven at all (they just suck; worst tires I've ever seen). I had to trim the tab in the rear fender, but if you get new wheels with an offset of +50 or higher, you wouldn't need to.
