Angry Update on transmission problems/failure...

After spending a couple of days tripping warning codes in my TLS and talking to Acura, my service center, under the advice of Acura, replaced the transmission shift sensor. It would seem even Acura was stumped as to what was wrong. Every time they reset the codes, they were give different codes the next time the warning lights came on. So Acura said replace the transmission shift sensor. That didn't work so now I'm waiting for a whole new tranny. It'll probably be early next week before I get the car back. I'm suffering serious withdrawal.

Well, look at it this way - your tranny will have 9,000 miles less on it than the rest of the car does - for free :-)
