This morning there was a Testing Meet in Torrance for the Prototype Headers. It was a www.AV6.com meet, about 10 Accord V6, 4 TL showed up. The schedule was to install the headers on a nearly stock AV6 to dyno it at 7:30 AM!!!. Well, most of use got pretty pissed off when it was around 12 and the headers weren't on the car. So half of us left to eat. Joe has 1 testing header completed...he doesn't expect these to be in out until September at the EARLIEST. I wouldn't be suprised if they are ready 2003. Tommorw, or today, sun, a CL-S 6-speed is suppose to roll over there and install it on there car, but i don't know what is gonna happen there.

 

I don't understand... Who were the people conducting the "testing meet?" Honda/Acura? Or aftermarket company? And how do I get in on something like that? (I'm from O.C. too)

 

That company has to be stupid or something. I've seen those headers on the net for literally years now and they're still not out. Just get Comptech.

 

iS300eater, you just have to do some forum jumping, just jump from one forum to another and usually meets like those the moderaters will make the post "sticky". Acura-TL.com has its own TL-Meet forum, but i also goto www.accordv6.com lot of stuff over there too.

Yes, the pictures of the headers have been out for a long ass time, but JOE, the head of Prototype Racing says that he just has past problems with a business partner...if that is true or not i leave it up for you to believe.

But the design of those header to look like they will have more gain then the CT header...it's just a matter if you are willing to wait that long to get them
