I took information from different websites, and threads through Acurazine.. This is just basically to help noobs get a idea what kind of parts are available for the TL, and comparisons, pictures and feedback on each item will be added. Basically this is a big thread to learn and discuss parts. Just thought this will help out the board and noobs on the website. Hopefully we can get this stickied!

Also, this is strictly learning and not a bullshitting thread. If you have something to say, should be informative! Thank you.

Unorthodox Racing make a few different pulley sets for our cars. Ultra S is underdrive crank, Ultra SS is underdrive set, Ultra Sc is stock size lightweight crank, Ultra SSc is stock size lightwieght set.

Because the short ram will draw in "hot air" and the intake sits by the battery area. A CAI (Cold Air Intake) has longer pipes that the intake goes away from the engine and situates itself in a cooler position compared to the short ram. A CAI is located behind the bumper..

Addition suggestions:

1. Grounding kit
a. Make your own with 4ga cables and nice aftermarket battery terminals.
b. Apexi ground kit

2. Hyper voltage kit, goes along with grounding kit.

3. Tranny cooler

4. Optima battery(red top or yellow top)

5. Custom wheels(lightweight of course as this is a performance thread not a bling thread)

6. Upsizing tires for better traction and handling. Example instead of 205/60/R16's upsize to 225/55/VR16's.

7. Iridium plugs(NGK Iridium IX or Denso Iridiums)

8. Top mount spoiler(on top of the rear window where it meets the roof)

9. Comptech Supercharger and other CT parts.

10. Racing pedals

11. BRAKES: too much to list here, you guys know the brands.

Springs: H&R Sport, H&R OE, Neuspeed Race
Struts: Eibach dampers
Strut bar: Cusco adjustable bar, Cusco non-adjustable, Comptech, Cusco lower strut bar

great thread! Finally someone thought to make a thread to help people like me who have no idea as to the different options for performance. it would be awesome to see prices for the parts and horsepower gains so i can get the best performance part for my money, but a great start none the less

Awesome thread. As a new owner of a 2002 TL-S, I am most appreciative.

To go with the Comptech supercharger, how about adding the Comptech transmission cooler kit (recommended by Comptech to go with supercharger installation), Comptech headers and downpipes, Comptech stainless steel axleback exhaust, Comptech quiet tip inserts, Comptech sport springs, Comptech anti-roll bar, Comptech shock tower brace, Comptech camber adjustment plates (front and rear), Koni shocks (already listed, sold by Comptech too), Comptech fuel pressure regulator (I believe this is included in the supercharger kit as is the Icebox cold air intake), Comptech High Volume/High Pressure Fuel Pump, Brembo 13" four piston front brakes.

Is that too much info?

-Intake, Headers, Spacers, Pulley, Exhaust, Supercharger= 300+HP/TQ to the crank {02-03 TL-S}
-All the parts give about the same results when combined with each other expect for "Not Preferred" Items.
-To compare products, do research before asking, tons of threads and posts.

-Nitrous will also help but isn't recommended, a 75 shot is about 75 HP, 50 shot is about 50 HP to the crank

If I remember there is some suspension bar that goes under the center of the TL and maybe looked like "H" shaped. I think it was blue and on ebay listed for the accord but fit our car. There was a post on here about it and I forgot where or what it was called, but it was either $75 or $125 and the thread was talking bout it would firm up frame/suspension even more. Does anyone know what the F I am talking about because I cant find it now and want it.

You can add the Progress RSB, the 3rd gen fits the 2nd as well.

Never heard that before, that's good to know since there aren't many other options for that.
