Update on Dead Type S

So far, my service center can't determine what's wrong w/ my TL-S. Well, they know what's wrong just not what's causing it. They tell me the technicians have spent much time on the phone w/ Acura trying to figure this out. Acura states that mine is the only one that's done anything like this. Lucky me, I get to be the guinea pig. Acura should give me some kind of prize.

They are leaning toward replacing the transmission but still don't know for sure. The will let me know what they're going to do tomorrow after lunch.

Check out my post in this forum entitled "Type S...Should be type P.O.S." Basically, I'm having what seems to be serious transmission trouble.

Depending on how long it sits in the shop, you may want to check your state's lemon laws. In CT, if it spends more than 30 days in the shop during the first year and is returned more than three times for the same problem, you get a new car.
