Hei my peeps, saw my car last friday without windshield, rear glass, but the roof is on. Hesitated on asking them to leave it black but figured I'll just have them paint it to match the rest of the car. Kinda felt sorry for my car though, poor thing . Quick question, they told me they would replace all parts with new ones from Acura, do body parts come black when new..? Just curious, coz maybe :rippedoff

All the body parts I have ordered for various cars come with painted with a black primer of somesort.

 

I used to work for Honda, ALL body Panels come black, otherwise the paint would get destroyed during shipping and imagine trying to stock all the different colors.

 

Who is paying for this? I hope the ex.

two tone could look good. I would prefer all one color though

 

Body panels DONT come painted. For one they wouldnt match color wise and for 2 they would get scratched and scuffed up.

 

I hope you get it reinforced in case that crazy ex of yours decides to do her gymnastics floor routine on top of the car again.

 

Either get it painted body color (HMM?) or get it painted in NBP. I say paint it black.

 

I don't think it would look right if it was just a black top, especially since it's just primer and not NBP. Maybe if you did the hood and the trunk lid like the guy from Distintiv_Tuning, but just the roof wouldn't look right.
