Update!

If any of you remember, I have an 03 tl that I recently found out had lemon title (the dealership never told me-they were required to). Anyway you can imagine what a lemon title does to the resale value of the car. I hired an attorney to take a look at the situation, and it looks like Acura is going to have to take the car back for failure to disclose that the car had a lemon/dealer buyback title. Im relieved to not have to worry about all the tranny issues anymore. Im done with the 2nd gen tl. Im either going to buy the 04 tl or an infinity G35 i think.

Glad it all worked out for you. Good luck on the new vehicle.

Why would acura have to disclose that? Unless the GM dealership bought it from the acura dealership, That should be info avail to the dealership that took it as the trade in. It should show up on any title search.

I would say its the GM dealers fault for not running the check before they sold it to the customer.
