Hey Charles,

you can add police strobe lights and you'll be ready for the show, right??

Make sure to stay away from COPs, though!

I hardly turn it on so I am not worried. Usually I show it to my friends only.

I wanted to put neons under my car forever. So, my friend and I decided to put them on this summer. I was worried about a couple of things. Wouldn't the neon tubes break if the car was put on the lift? Isn't there a good chance of the tubes cracking if they were hit by rocks when driving? And how long will they last for? Sorry if i posted any stupid questions... if anyone has answers to these questions please reply. I emailed www.liteglow.com a million times but never got a response.

Yes, it happened to me when I took my neon Camry to the shop several years back. Good thing I was there watching the mechanic drive my car up to the lift. Crack! The shop had no choice but to replace the neon for me. Yeah, neon only looks good if your car is lowered, but if you lower it, more chances of it cracking. Back then, neons broke easily. But maybe the quality is better now and more resistant to breaking. The only way to find out I guess is to go up lifts, ramps, etc. and see how close you are to scraping. If you factor in the height of the tubes, you will be able to tell if the tubes will scrape.

To clear up any questions about the legality of neon lights, it's ILLEGAL in any state to have blue or red lighting like neon on your vehicle..Pretty hefty ticket in most states as well which is why most places will warn you when you buy blue or red lighting by stating that it is for "show only" or "offroad use only."
