Underbody Neons!
Underbody Neons!
I installed these over the weekend with BigMonkey. Some ppl might say they are RICE, but I think they are cool.
- Blue LiteGlow Neons: $95
- 5 hours spend installing neons: owe BigMonkey dinner!
- Smile on my face when it is turn on: PRICELESS!

if you dont want the actual neon tubes to show, put black electrical tape on the exposed parts...thereby, it will give off that "floating" look
Well most places the Blue & the Red are illegal, & the other colors are just fine. I think it's ridiculous because the lights on cop cars & other emergency vehicles are on the top & not the bottom of the cars or vehicles. They are just jerks & want to make money & mess with us anyway just cause they can.....

If were to put tape over the exposed area, wouldn't it block out more light?

kind of...it will focus the light to underneath the car but it wont affect the light output, if thats what you are wondering...
These neons are definitely ILLEGAL. However, I just install it for show purposes. All the stereo shops sell these for like 200 bucks, but the best place to buy them is EBAY. They had a dutch buy for $85 with $10 shipping a while back.

I wanted to put neons under my car forever. So, my friend and I decided to put them on this summer. I was worried about a couple of things. Wouldn't the neon tubes break if the car was put on the lift?
Isn't there a good chance of the tubes cracking if they were hit by rocks when driving?
And how long will they last for?
Sorry if i posted any stupid questions... if anyone has answers to these questions please reply.
I emailed www.liteglow.com a million times but never got a response.

thats the point to put them on when you drive, you want everyone to look at your ride. i've seen some cars that have them no many but since i got my car lowered i'm worried too about and cracks or breaks.
I have my car lowered. So far no cracks or breaks. If it breaks, who cares, only cost 95 bucks!

Charles, yours barely a week old ....
The tube is pretty hard to break or crack. I have mine on for about 6 months now and still great. Yep mine is lower too.
Dang Charles ... add another 20 bucks you can get the streetglow . :p

I don't really think it is any better. He has the blue streetglow neons and compared to mines, my neons are brighter.
