OK... I have $300 to spend... should I get tails, sway bars, or springs??? I would save on installation charges with tails but springs make the car look SOOOO good! not to mention help in hugging corners... help guys

If you want just looks - tails.
On white and silver TL, they seem to make the most impact on how the car looks.
How much more is installation for the springs?
But, I say springs if you had to choose between the three. If you saved up a little bit more, go for springs and sways together. This is a better combo.
If you just want to spend $300 now, go for tails.
Depends on your personal preference. I chose the tails first, and opted to wait for the springs later on when I was closer to getting rid of my stock tires.

Mods? What mods? I can't afford mods, I'm getting married!!
Vin says 2001, but it's really a 2000 with an upgraded cupholder!!

I know AC... with springs or sways I would be actually spending like $500 unless they sat in my basement collecting dust for a month... so I guess I'll go with Edub-TL on the tails unless bdimc2001... nevermind

i say springs. you can get the H&R's for around $250 installed. not a bad ride either. does reduce alot of the body roll, alot funner to drive in my opinion.

don't know which exactly is better since i installed both at the same time, but i believe the sway bars will give you better cornering control. While springs will help add on the effect, its more for looks IMO. Going with the sway bars is cheaper, plus you won't need a wheel alignment, and you might even install the sway bars yourself as many people have done.

OK READY!!!!
SWAYS!!! Seriously, though. Park Ave Acura in Maywood, NJ can install your sways for $75. You can buy them from Snook or directy from Park Ave.
Check it out here
They have the best service department and are totally into Comptech.
This way you get a good performance mod and be half way to a great suspension. I did sways and springs before my rims and lights.

Definately springs or coilovers. Stock TL's have a horrendous amount of wheel gap. I mean come on, we're not driving freaking SUV's. I personally didn't get Comptech springs because I felt that they didn't lower the car enough. SO I got Neuspeed springs that dropped the car 2". Now I have Ground Control Coilovers and I can set them to whatever height I want.
