hi guys i got and 03 tls white.......im def gettin tint next week but im between mirror and smoke what do u guys think any ideas would help im leanin towards smoke but still like mirror thanks:wow:

 

hey nym31mp , i am debating the same thing you are, and i also have a white tl-s. I am probably getting tint in the next few weeks and i think im going to go with smoke. Probably most of the reason being that the cops in my area hassled me with mirror tint all around on my last car. Jersey is the worst for tinting laws

 

i have a white and went with black tint , the darkest one they had. looks good

smoke... on my SSM i got 3% smoke, if i would have gotton mirror at 3%, it would have looked like someone painted my windows silver. Mirror is good for light applications, but if you want it dark, go smoke.

 

Definitely get smoke.

i dont know much about tinting but im interested in getting it done soon... whats the difference between the smoke and charcoal and regular tint?

 

i am in cali, arguably the most strict state in the whole US

 

I have a white TLS and I personally think that Madico Cool Chrome tint looks the best on that color...My tint is very nice looking.

NUH UH? I thought cali was cool bcuz u could tint rear windows anything, only front driver and passenger were like 35%.. and I thought in Cali you could tint windshield and back window..

Anyways what states let u tint front windshield and back windshield and put limo tint on the windows? I mean I have seen people do it but dont they get stopped and ticketed??

 

yes and no. here i can tint my rear window and the two rear side windows whatever i want, but the front side can't be anything lower than 70. nothing for the front winshield except for 4 inches from the top?

 

Can people post pictures I was looking into getting tints also...

oh by the way does anybody have Madico Onyx tints??? i got them but i'm starting to doubt they are good quality tints...i see purplish hue... the tint guys told me it was non reflective metal tints...is it true?

 

Get a black tint. Mirror tint is gay. Thats what everyone in thier fake hondas that arent hooked up with the ghetto used body kit that is a different color from the rest of the car do. And it makes ur car look cheap as hell too. atleast w/ black ur car looks more expensive and mafia.

 

You can get a slight mirror finish that looks good.

 

I have 20% dark/black tint on my heather mist. They look real nice, but i think smoke tint (dark grey) would be even better, more classy

 

From what I remember about Jersey you can put whatever you want in the back windows but NOTHING in the front two.

Here in Toronto from what I've heard you can put whatever you want, wherever, and no one has any problems with it.

that isn't quite true...For the driver’s compartment, right and left, no film can be installed that would substantially obscure visibility from the exterior. Behind the driver’s compartment, any film can be installed. This is for Ontario.
