Dude, I feel for you man, I don't understand those peeps that banner up their car with bullsh!t ish... good god, that reminds me, I saw an Acura CL Type-S today (that sundance gold color) with a frigging Jaguar symbol on it, that statue? Looked so freaking stupid...

You know what you should do now? Remove ALL they symbols and go in 'shadow warrior' style!

To share your pain - just lost the badge on our honda two days ago. The worst part is, you have no way to prevent that from happening. I would rather give them 20 bucks to save the hassle. But then I will lose both the sign and the money. How much is the type-S sign cost?

I'm sorry to hear about that Mr.T. So what's next...steal bits and pieces off of different TLSs until they manufacture their own?? Even if they put the Type S symbol on their car (whether it be on another TL or not), it will be clearly obvious that it isn't a TLS. The 2002 TL and TLS have distinct exterior AND interior differences between them. I don't know why ppl always gotta fake like they have something that they don't. [b]IF YOU WANT A TLS, BUY ONE!![b]

Better yet, maybe they shouldn't 'cause [b]WHAT GOES AROUND, COMES AROUND!! BELIEVE DAT!![b]

Unhappy

I noticed mine was "movable" if I tried to spin it a little. I remembered hearing about CL-S guys howling about jerks stealing the badge.

What low lifes. Maybe we could wire 220v to the emblem, and park in puddles!

The Type-S emblem is like $20 at the dealer, I agree with the stealth mode tactic I took the 3.2 TL badge off of mine just to keep the people how dont know about cars guessing.

Thumbs down

Sorry to hear about that Mr. T, I feel for ya...that BS pisses me off too. Little punks that go around ripping stuff off of peoples cars. If I ever see someone doing that to my car, I'll probably introduce them to my Glock. But you know what, I believe in "bad kharma."

I once seen a guy get his ass whooped from two huge guys who came to their MB while this kid was ripping the sign off their hood. Mr. T if I see anybody doing shit like that I'll kick their ass in your name.

i think that some people take the "Type S" off the TL cuz they might think that TL-S don't eist...

there are some ignorant pople out there who get pissed when they see people take the CL's TYPE S and put it on their TL..and try to make it TYPE -S ...but little do they know that the TL-S do exist...

hehe
anyway..just a theory

Yesterday, the dealer took care of some minor items and also de-badged the entire rear end, except for the large Acura logo. It now looks very clean. I didn't ask to keep the badges or would send one you the Type-S badge! I want the entry-level Bimmer and Lexus owners wonder what just dusted them!

I'm not surprised about this... here in Cali it seems to occur very often.. a couple of my CL-S buddies have had theirs stolen too.. WTF?? Do they think that Type-S logo will give them more HP or something??

And did you guys check out the post about the stolen headlights in the TL fourum?? Crazyness..
