Im new here...so I dont know if this has been discussed. But I am planning to buy a Type S over this summer...hopefully..not sure yet. It really depends on how much it would come out to. I was wondering for those of you who recently bought a Type S in southern california...how much you got it for...and where. Hopefully I could see what dealerships gives the best offers and go from there...thanks alot!

 

~$31,350 for an Aegean Blue TL Type S w/ Navi, mud flaps, and wheel locks from John Huynh @ Costa Mesa Acura. A good guy to work with, and as you can see he gave me what I considered to be a great deal on a hot car. Of course, his job is to push what he has to sell, so if supply is low as rumored, he probably can't work as great of a deal but he will be straightforward about it.

My out-the-door cost was a little over $34k with 7% tax (about $550 in state fees).

If I were you, I will not just go to one dealer.

Take your time. What I did was go to one dealer and ask for the price (best dealer). Then, another one and use it to ask them to beat it, etc...

Seems like people are getting good deal from South Coast dealer, well according to them, but I still will check with other dealer. You neve know. I have been there, but I ended up buying from another dealer.

Ya I get what you're saying...few dealers...each competiting for business...and get the price as low as possible. If you dont mind me asking...how much did you pay for your TLS...w/ or w/o nav? Thank you for your time.

$32600 OTD (out the door).

I am sure some paid a bit lower...but dunno how low.

i'm in the socal area also...i've gotten quotes as low as 30,348 from tustin acura. however as you probably noticed stock has dried up for a while and dealerships won't be getting new shippents until mid to late may. as of now the low prices have dried up. i have heard of prices as low as 29,300 for a tls without nav. my advice is to wait a little longer until there is more stock

 

Paid 31,200 for a Aegean Blue TL-S with nav, wheel locks, mud flaps, truck tray...

Jonh over at South Coast Acura is a good choice as well...IMO
