Type S Gauges now available
Everything fit perfectly.
Only differences that I have been able to tell is the redline is higher and TCS light doesn't work
Order all that Acura had on hand, which was 10, so they won't last long
Order now and they will be shipped when the order comes in, should be Monday.
Type S Gauges
Install time 1 hour

As Tim said earlier, the gauge is a simple/straitforward installation. Of course, he always takes an extra step in his customer service. During his installation he took photos outlining the installation process.

Snook: Lookin great,
I actually wanted this style way before TL-S came out, I saw it on a CLS a long time ago, and was thinking it'd be great to fit it on my own. Personally, i prefer this to Indiglo because it keeps a nice, stock type look. If I didn't have a 99 i'd jump on it.. i think you guys with 00+ should consider... i'd be concerned about the redline though.

you can shift at 6900rpm in SS mode and it wont do harm... they are phat and I already have the type-S shifter... By the way, my car in auto mode automatically shifts at 6900rpm from first to second... do yall think the TCS light is a big deal or what???

Can I cut my own TCS light indicator? That's kinda important to me because I got the ECU computer bug and my TCS quit working all da time... It's always good to know if the TCS is there or not. Even thought they don't work that well after all...

Nope, the car won't shift for you. You will hit the rev limiter if you go post the redline
