Turning into a mechanic (intake heater)
Hi all
I just realized I'm slowing turning into an auto mechanic. I'm learning so much about cars since I started participating in this forum. I even ordered the TL service manuals to do the mods myself. Its fun but I don't know if it is worth it. I mean I don't have a career in auto repairs....
Just browsing through the manuals I learned that engine has intake air heater in case the outside air is too cold to conserve fuel. For performance minded people, this is one feature and dead weight we don't need to haul around. What the heck, instead of intercooler, we have intake heater....
