nope, not worth it if you're worried about the warrenty. you get what you pay for and I doubt the shop will be too willing to work on a car that's damaged after they've already given a free turbo kit

Not worth it at all, unless you got the $$$. I suggest saving up for a supercharger.

instead of saving up for a sc or faster car, save up for a tranny upgrade. a free turbo is free, so spend a few bucks strengthening vulnerable components. oppertunities like this dont come up that often, so if possible try to do it.

i'm not sure whats available for tranny upgrades but i believ austin519 (search his name) has some modifications to his.

not worth having turbo at all. first of all the car is too damn heavy u have to understand this car aint meant for racing is morre a luxurious car. save ur money son and get urself a S2000 or somethin if you worryin about going faster even if u get a supercharger dat only boost u up to what 50 HP dats ****. like i said son betta off save ur paper and move on a faster car.

Free Turbo? Is it Carb Certified? Go for it, if you don't like it you can always take it off.

I agree somewhat. as long as you don't boost a lot then the engine should last. There is a tranny upgrade as well as some engine work that you can do to lower the compression on the TLS engine allowing for some more boost. give velocityresources a call and ask for Dean Baty. I think they are the ones working on the tranny upgrade as well as the 3.5 liter upgrade.

Don't just get a turbo to get a turbo. research and make sure you re-enforce other parts of the car and that the car is turbo ready. I agree that it might be better to get a faster car and mod it but there is nothing wrong with trying to make a TLS faster. You will go through tires though trying to launch that sucker!

A turboed CLS6 ran a 12.9 on 6.5 pounds of boost. Also what kind of turbo is it and how big?

thanks guys im not going to get it. i want it... but why stress about my car? i got plenty to stress about as it is right now. the house payment the car payment god its hard... but later in the future ill have time to really play im only 20. ill just save up. I was going to be out of a car for 2 months plus the drive to new mexico.. and if there was something wrong to happen then its all up on me... so im going to just hold off on that and get a bussiness opended up with my friend. i just read it.. the bussiness will be adding to that stress level.
