you can get 'turbo' anywhere

if your asking about a turbo kit, then there is none currently available

you will have to custom fab one which would take a good amount of time and money

Go to the CL board and there are a few people with turbos. Allmotor is probably a good source to ask, as I think he mad a few turbo kits with intercoolers.

Good luck

Ramanan on the CL board drives his turbo CL daily. Makes full boost below 3,000rpm. (i.e., no lag) You don't know what you are talking about.

Allmotor civics and CRX's dip into low 12s and 11s all the time. Add boost and you can go low 11s or 10s. Full race setups run 7s

Thx for reminding me not to race any of these potential monsters...getting spanked by a Civic would look real

Don't forget these are normally CRXs and Civics with Integra GS-R engine swaps and tons of bolt-ons. Its not just any old CRX that can make it into 12s ...

patrick- The everyday 'ricer' CRX with just a fart can exhaust isn't anything to worry about. Of course, you usually can't tell the difference between that and an engine swapped CRX until he's smoking you

Well a 12 second all motor civic is going to be loud as all hell, so that might tip you off a little.

Yes most have GS-R engines or H22's but its still cheap speed compared to anything you'll find on Acurazine.

Have you seen slips or a track video? I saw the street race video against the Viper, and he had full traction all the way through the run. That's something a 10 second Civic doesn't do on the street with DOT tires.

Look up at the top of this page and click on "CL Community" ... and then search for "Allmotor" thats his name on the boards. There's a few posts by him on the Turbo CL and I think his CL was recently in a magazine, so you might be able to pickup a copy of the magazine for pics.

Just do the search and you should be able to find what you're looking for.

there was a vidoe of him floating around at teh drag. i dont remember what his time way but it was fast. there was that night video he did the roll on with the 11 sec viper and ran with him. that civic is fast.
a set of bfg drag radials that are for the street and he could do what he did.

I've seen the Viper video. Although there's nothing to prove that the Viper is in fact an 11 second car other than the graphics in the beginning of the video. Allmotor_2000 on the CL board used to have an 11 second all motor civic and he said that even that car had serious traction issues. He doubted that the civic vs. viper vid was infact of a 10 second civic. It's possible, but from that roll he didn't spin the tires at all.

Oh and the BFG DR's for RWD cars like the lightning and the mustang are alot different than the ones you'd put on a FWD car like the civic or the CL. Different tread design.
