Trying to figure out where mystery part goes
I'm a first-time Acura owner after getting a 2003 TL Type-S from my nephew last month. I'm still in the process of fixing all the minor stuff that had gone un-fixed, and learning the ropes of the thing.
Question: In the process of cleaning up, I found a small plastic interior part in the console box, but I can't figure out where it originally came from (it wasn't attached when I got the car). Here's what it looks like:
It says "SOK HONDA >PP~T<" on it, so I'm pretty sure it's from the car, but that's not a part number, so Google and parts lists did no good.
Anybody recognize this thing?
This isn't part of my question, but I owe the folks here a huge debt of gratitude. I decided to replace the stock stereo with an eBay Pioneer GPS unit, but leave the stock speakers in, and the threads here helped me figure out how to remove the Bose EQ, keep the stock subwoofer and its amp, and get everything working smoothly, which I doubt I'd have been able to pull off without the advice and walkthroughs here.
So even if nobody can answer, I'm already thankful!
