idk if this is normal but when i close my trunk i have to let it down easy because if i let go it just slams.. is there somthing loose? or is there somthing i can tighten to give the trunk some tension so that wen i let go it wont slam like a bitch?

Sounds like the tensioner isnt on. Do you have a spoiler?

 

 

u need the stronger tension bar...they should be black, order straight from dealer...! i have a set w/ the install tool, too lazy to put it on

 

 

here's how they looked like....still brand new wrapped! there's some green spray at one end and purple on the other purpose is to tell which side goes where...but i still dont know which goes where....

as for the install tool, it's inside my trunk...no pic yet! it's like a foot and a half long, w/ a 45 degrees arc, welded on a inch wide ring type metal! iono if im making sense or not~~~
