If I want to install an indiglo emblem...how do i get the wires after i put it in the holes?.....How do you get that cover off?

Pull a bunch of those little black pushpins and the cover comes right off.

yeah i cracked a couple while i was taking mine off to wire my indiglo emblem. Those pins are little bizatches when you try to pry em out. My hands and fingers were real sore after installing my emblem.

 

Sounds Interesting, Not sure what it looks like. Any one got pics.

 

Do dealers carry those little fastener pins??? How much you think they are???

 

I wired up my Indiglo badges, but I have them on a switch since they are not completely legal (blue lights are a no-no in Oregon). I was going to wire them up so they turn off when the shifter is in D5. I figured a relay wired to the D5 light might be a shortcut. Anyone got a different idea?

Oh by the way: everyone I show them to thinks they look great (even non-ricers). I have blue on my white TL.

Thanks...I got my emblem up and working. My brother was helping me and while we were doin it he scratched my trunk really badly.........suggestions???

Hey,
I also put my Blue Indiglo Emblem on Tuesday night. I also broke alot of those freaking blasck things. I got a peice stuck somewhere in the trunk and i have to take it off again and take it out. But other wise it was easy. I had to buy more wire and then I just ran it side by side the trunk release cord and wired it to the third break light. I jsut put zip ties along it and it works great. To bad I cant see it at all unless someone else it pushing the break but it looks awsome. I will post some pics this weekend.

I installed mine and warren's (URIRx) no problem and I even guided Tommy through his. Now TommyAmrani is a mental midget and the village idiot. If HE can do it, anyone can. Use a rubber mallet on the back end of the factory acura symbol to get it off and guide the wires through there. to take of the trunk cover just pull them off gently with some plyers. its farely simple once the tabs are out. here is a picture of mine.
