I've noticed that my 2001 TL has been having some issues starting. The engine cranks and ends up barely starting. Sometimes I've had to try twice. If i give it a little gas when I'm starting its fine. It has like 51k miles on it and I've always used 93 octane in it.

 

take my word for it, go to the dealer and tell them to check out/replace your fuel pressure regulator. It's a known problem on the 2001 TL and up...

it happens to a lot of them...
