trany fluid change?
#4
An Accord V6 guy changed to B&M Trickshift tranny fluid, and dropped his 1/4 almost .1 of a second.
Interesting.
Check out autotoys, there's Hurst and B&M.
(B&M has a pre 97 stipulation on it, I'm not sure why, but Accord V6 guys have been on it for 60k+ and no complains so who knows)

If you want to keep your TL for a while, it is best to change it every year or 15,000 miles. It is best to go to the dealers too because they have a machine that actually sucks out ALL the old ATF fluid. Most mechanics just let it drain, and usually, the tranny still has half of the old fluid in and can't be drained without the sucking machine that the dealers have.

#1 - Don't use synthetic, or any other "special" fluid. Hondas need a special viscosity to perform correctly, and aftermarket fluid will cause rough shifting and possibly void the tranny warranty.
#2 - Yes, like someone above said, you need to have this done at a shop. Just draining the fluid at home will only get about 70% out; you need to power flush it. You can have it done for about $50.00 plus the cost of the fluid.
