Transponder Keys - Need Confirmation pls
Hello,
I did a search on this and am pretty sure I got my answer, but I just want to make sure. I recently lost my only original key for my 2002 TL-S. I only have the Valet key now with no remotes. I bought a remote of Ebay today and already found instructions on programming it. What I need to know is, are all transponder keys the same and just need to be programmed ? Can I buy any transponder key for my car on E bay and just have it programmed by the dealer, or are there specific keys for specific VIN numbers. Your help on this topic that has been posted many times is greatly appreciated.
