Does anyone know exactly where the transponder chip is inside the key? Is it in the base of the key or the cutted edge of the key? and does anyone know how big the chip is?

 

i think it is in the plastic part of the key...

 

yes, it's in the plastic part. And it's about as big as....the plastic part.

 

Thanks...because if wasn't as big as and in the plastic part...and it was in the cutted edge of the key. I was planing on making the "flip out key" thing that MB and BMW has...the "spring loaded" key type mechinisum. I just think that is cool
