Transmission Replacement Type?

Hello. Ive had a 2002 TL type S for 2 years. I took it to the dealership to have the airbag recall done. I asked them about the history of my car and what recalls had been performed. Specifically the transmission. Because my tranny doesn't have the external oil jet. So my transmission was replaced in 2007 by Acura. Can anyone tell me anything about the transmission I have now. Like any improvements over the original or anything. I now have 220,000 miles on the car and zero transmission issues THANK GOD. Obviously the replacement transmission was an upgrade. I'm curious as to how much of an upgrade. Thanks

There should be a tag on the torque converter housing section of the transmission about 1/2 way down, facing toward the radiator. It will have the transmission model on it. take a picture and post to see if anyone has any information on what you have.

Are you sure it is not B7WA ? There should be lots of posts you can search but the standard unit was a B7WA. Others here should be more familiar with decoding the rest of the ID. Hopefully they will notice the thread and chime in.

It probably is. It was almost dark outside when I took a picture of it. I'll check it again . Thanks

The same # P7W A87 RMK is on my replacement transmission (2003 TL-S). The part # from Acura invoice is 06200-P7W-A87RM.
