Thumbs up Transmission fixed in 2 days.

Hi all, I am the owner of a 2002 TL-S with 8500 miles on it. Last week the transmission started to slip shifting from 2 to 3. I called the local dealer here in Charlotte, NC (Hendrick) on Monday. I dropped the car off on Tuesday and they called me later that day and told me that the transmission would have to be replaced. I was given a 2002 TL service loaner and told that they were not sure when the transmission would be delivered. I thought to myself, here we go, this is going to take for ever. Well, much to my suprise, they called me on Thursday and informed me that me car was ready. I really put it to the test today and let me tell you, the car runs GREAT! I never thought that I would say this but, Acura service in Charlotte is awesome.

That's pretty amazing...especially since it takes 8 hours to replace the tranny! I wonder how they got one so fast? I lived in Charlotte for years and dealt with Hendrick...almost bought a CL there once...they are highly suspect. I hope it continues to run all right! Keep us posted!
