It's about time someone noticed!!! Did Honda/Acura think they could go on without anyone taking notice?

Honda better pray no one who has had an accident as a result of the tranny sees this article. This could end up being like the unintended acceleration problem Audi had in the 80s and really hurt their reputation.

Also, I wonder how honest that Spencer guy was in saying they've had only 16,000 replacements. If some of the numbers we've heard from other sources, the number of failures is easily double that.

For what it's worth, I'll be sending an e-mail to the author of that article telling him of my experience.

 

I did the same thing. I was sure to highlight how both of my failures occured in heavy rush hour traffic...and how the are Acura Rep was a real jerk...but how the Acura Dealer saved face and treated me right.
