hey … i have an 99 acura tl 3.2 … i rebuild my transmission about a year ago and i think is giving me problems ago.. my check engine light came on and the code is p1738 .. is telling me tcm circuit … when i first take off every morning the car gives me an hard shift but then when i have at lease 5mins of driving the transmission start shifting fine with no problem… does this mean i need another transmission? thanks for help guys...

 

Doesn't sound like our issue.. The problem it gives us is the other way around, Once the trans is warmed up it will slip. When its cold the trans would work fine.

 

I am having the same issue did you ever find the fix?
